MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 6
EEI announced today it will deliver its OFX server Enterprise-FTX to Online Resources & Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCC - news), a leading provider of Internet banking services. Enterprise-FTX will enable Online Resources to seamlessly integrate its real-time banking and billpaying service with personal financial management software (PFMs) such as Quicken, Quickbooks and Microsoft, as well as other OFX-based applications and services.
``In today's digital economy, banks and credit unions need to provide customers with improved offerings,'' said George Anderson, president and CEO, of Enterprise Engineering. ``By linking EnterpriseFTX with Online Resources' existing Internet banking and bill payment solutions, institutions can provide their clients with an impressive array of services at reduced cost.''
As a certified OFX solution, Enterprise-FTX helps financial institutions and banking service providers create secure home and business-to-business applications via the Internet.
``We evaluated solutions from several organizations,'' said Ron Bergamesca, senior vice president of marketing for Online Resources. ``EEI stood out because it was so easy to map their OFX messages to our back office. This ease was a primary differentiation.''
By combining Enterprise-FTX, a 100% Java based product, with Netscape's Application Server software from the Sun-Netscape Alliance, EEI delivers a high performance platform that offers comprehensive support and services for any OFX compliant personal financial management software.
